What is the LFUOSC?

The LFUOSC is an organization that aids qualified individual members that do not have a voice in their treatment and local living situation through normal diplomatic or legal means. The specific grievances include, but are not limited to, poverty, starvation, religious persecution, governmental persecution, natural disaster and war. The LFUOSC offers initial charity to cover the immediate needs in providing shelter, sustenance and legal council. After taking care of the most pressing needs, the LFUOSC will continue its support with sponsor driven gifts and communication. The LFUOSC not only lifts desperate members out from their uncontrollably intolerable situations, it is a pillar of strength that allows them to continue their pursuits of liberty and happiness.

The LFUOSC support process:

The LFUOSC is made up of the representatives of many unique groups. The individual members of these groups voice their needs and grievances to their group representative, who, in turn, relays the information to the LFUOSC. The request is considered by the other representatives under a complex system that takes into account such factors as available resources, sponsor desires, amount of other individual requests in the area and priority of desperation. All members of the LFUOSC receive fair and just consideration of their request by the various representatives. In a case where the representatives are unable to come to a satisfactory agreement on a course of action, an oracle is consulted for a tie breaking vote.

A selection of groups the LFUOSC represents:

Due to the past reactions of intermingling with unforgiving populaces, many groups understandably refused to have specifics mentioned on this website. However, other forward-thinking groups have taken the risk and allowed us to present a bit about them. Any omitted information is purely for protection of the individuals involved.

Casa de Santa Sangre: Represented by Señor Cristos, this group has weathered the storm of various religious persecutions over the ages from the old country to the new. They maintain their simple house in the mountains of north western Guatemala, a refuge for unfortunately much maligned vampires. The LFUOSC supports Señor Cristos' relocation of the homeless and persecuted to the safe haven in Guatemala.

Yukkuri Yuki: Represented by Omeno Mama, this group is currently facing a natural disaster that threatens its very existence. The snow in northern Japan has become sporadic in recent years, possibly due to global warming, reducing the habitat of the Yuki Onna. In addition, man made roads, villages and factories are displacing them, driving them away from their previous land and reducing the number of their chosen prey, heartbroken individuals who are stranded in the woods. The LFUOSC and Omeno Mama are drumming up support for a Yuki Onna reservation in one of the many abandoned ski resorts that pepper the area.

The Gas-glow Shades: Represented by Meara O'Leary, this group has come under severe attack by an overzealous religious group. Many of the members have been dissipated due to ceremonial magic, lost forever to the world. O'Leary and her allies are under constant watch, making them worried for their safety and keeping them from feeding. The LFUOSC supports O'Leary with surrogates for fear, their main staple, and guardians for their castle sanctuaries.

Atu Ama Ra: Represented by Apuk Tuta Lampu, this group has suffered enormous loss of its members in the last century and a half, through grave robbers, museums and oil drilling. Very few new members have joined and their numbers have greatly diminished. This group is particularly effected by the turmoil in the Middle East with its susceptibility to explosives and fires. The LFUOSC supports Apuk with relocation to more stable and secret locations as well as with finding new members.

There are more than 150 other member groups that are represented in the LFUOSC.

LFUOSC facts:

The LFUOSC has helped many groups all over the world, including the Chinese vampires when their butterflies were killed in the chemical spill near Beijing.

With the protection of penguins in Antarctica, the blind snow moles have become endangered. Without the decomposing bodies of both the penguins and the moles, the intelligent ice fungi, Iilli, has already lost 400 square miles of its body area.

Redcaps are named for the folk myth that they dip their hats in the blood of the unwary travelers that were crushed under the boulders they pushed down canyon walls.
